Re: Kodak Nikon vs Canon mount production numbers?
I keep an eye on ebay worldwide (you can set up searches that email you if a prticular thing is listed), plus lots of other people have added cameras so many thanks to them! I've also found other numbers on the net & on the Kodak site. Compare also the 333 DCS numbers to the 4 Minolta RD-175 bod...

Re: Kodak Nikon vs Canon mount production numbers?
Hi,
In my DCS survey out of 333 cameras there are 92 Canons (against 241 Nikons), and 75 of those are later 500-series bodies.
Don't forget the later Pro-SLR/c.
Regards, Jonathan

EOS-DCS-3
Today received an EOS-DCS-3, the Canon equivalent of the NC2000. I already had a NC2000e, but have never gotten around to trying it (poor battery) This one works well, and I must say the image quality is amazingly good, compared to the other early DCS's. Up to about ISO 600 I think I would go so far...

RC-701 makes £700+
A Canon RC-701 ended at £731 despite not having a battery or really any accessories (though it did have 2 unspecified lenses) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330229915162&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=014 The buyer is registered in Germany, I notice. These came...

try this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/b008ppvg.shtml and drag the time line thingy to 44min 20sec to go right to it. I think it will only be available for the next few days so if anyone can rip the video better do it now. Some screengrab highlights: Spot the: QV1000C, bare alloy camer...
