Re: Nikon D1X: Still going strong? Going even stronger! With the Kodak DCS200ci
Hi, I am still working with my old Nikon D1 and D1H. Very nice images up to A3 format print. I use an old PC with Windows XP and a very interesting software: FAScinator Photostacker Pro 1.10 introduced in 1994! by Ultima Electronics. Just 2 diskettes (= less than 2 Mb.) but offering everything you n...

Re: Minolta RD 3000
Hi, I think there is a problem with one of the mirrors. The camera delivers images from a pair of 1.5-megapixel CCD imagers using a half-mirror prism. The prism splits the image into left and right halves, each of which is projected onto its own CCD. The two images are then seamlessly rejoined, beco...

Re: Shutter activations
Hi, yes, the first line (00A5) remains untouched, the second line (00A6) and the actual line with the total number of activations will count the latest shots. I haven't found a camera with a third shutter placed, but I assume there will be a 00A7. The mirror mechanism will not be exchanged - I think...

Re: Shutter activations
Gilbert, the only moving parts in a digi-reflex are the shutter and mirror. To all of you: Yes, you can control the total number of shutter activations. In Opanda Exif Reader you'll find down the long list of image data the total number of shutter activations. Above that number line you'll find two ...

Shutter activations
Gentlemen! It seems that when Nikon Professional Service has replaced a original shutter in a Nikon digital SLR camera by a brand new one, the shutter activation counter in the camera's software isn't/cannot be set to zero. Thus making it difficult - when the moment of exchange is unknown - to find ...

Nikon D2H parts wanted
Hi friends, does anybody have some parts of the Nikon D2H. In particular the exposure program/meter module, which can be found on top of the prism just under the top cap. A donor-body would be welcome, too. It seems that many D2H cameras had problems with the exposure meter. Some of them were replac...

Re: Rare monochrome DCS760M on eBay
ANTI 9 !!!
Why asking that stupid price?? Why not just 1,800 USDollars. Many people are fooling themselves by using this 999.99 'marketing deception'.
BTW: the price is far too high for a camera that doesn't work.
regards,
Nico

Re: Exciting historical info from Kodak - incl. prod. numbers!
Happy 2015! Can someone out there tell me the production totals of the Kodak 620 series? I miss them in the list above. My 620C has 1948, which was an excellent year BTW  (just one negative event: our late Queen Wilhelmina announced her abdication when she heard that I was born  ). Thanks...

Re: Kodak 620C
Thanks Stan,
the 620 is saving images in TIFF only which I can't open in regular imaging software. I am certainly going to try your advice.

Nico

Kodak 620C
Hi friends out there! I've found and bought a pristine Kodak 620C with charger, new battery and AC adapter. It works fine, but I can't open images in whatever Nikon View version nor in older software like PhotostackerPro. Is there anywhere some Kodak software downloadable so I can enjoy this nice ca...

Re: FINALLY!! I got my E3s up and running.
There is an old(er) software which may work with older digital cameras, introduced in 1994: FAScinator Photostacker PRO. It still works under Windows XP etc. If you can't get it, sent me your email address and I'll sent it to you. Just some 2 Mb., but really fascinating. regards, Nico www.nicovandij...
