Re: My new DCS 14n

Ross,
I would try and compare the multi-selector to the F80 camera the digi-slr was based on.
If it is the same as the F80 camera, there may be some parts in your local Nikon bin.

Re: Leica M9 - love at first light (NikonWeb article)

Jarle,
I can understand the confusion. You must have been thinking of one of the many Nikon D1 variants that you own (joke).
I have just the original D1 (grin).

Re: Leica M9 - love at first light (NikonWeb article)

Jarle,

I have read your comments about the M9, I have owned/handled some previous Leica's but not the M9.
I like your story and remarks.

One comment: As far as I know the original Nikon D1 has no playback zoom whatsoever, contrary to later models.

Re: NASA 28MM F2.0

Considering the shiny paint, I do not believe it.

It might bave been NASA property at some time, but so has more stuff I do not care about.
But as the master says:
-where's the beef (documents/ provenance)
-has it been in space? can the seller prove it?

Regards, Gilbert.

D1 and GPS?

I found a D1 recently.

Above the Fire-wire connector is a 2.5mm jack plug, just like the D1H and X.

The manual for the D1 says nothing about a GPS connection.

Has one of you tried this connection on a D1?
