QV1000 on the Antiques Roadshow!

Now I've seen everything-a QV1000 (with it's zoom lens) on the Antiques Roadshow! Admittedly it was a glimpse in the background, but still... It was part of a large collection of Nikon cameras which included an SP rangefinder with 5cm f/1.1 and winder, an S3 with 5cm f/1.1, numerous F's (with severa...

Bought a very battered 2000e the other day, so might need this info. Haven't even got it powered up yet as the battery seems completely dead. Are the images better than the 420? Oh, and how can you tell (without using it) if it is colour or mono? The 4xx series have a letter after the model, but not...

DCS in the press

Just getting round to posting some scans of DCS articles I have clipped from mags over the years. Question about sensor or lens resolving - DCS-420

Right, please bear with me while I try to phrase this right... Using my DCS-420 (though it happens with my EOS-DCS-5, as it's the same sensor, etc.) often areas in sharp focus, (especially thin things such as hairs,) can 'pixelate'/show up the line structure, whereas areas out of focus can appear co...

Hi-welcome to the club

Does the little LCD on the rear show an error number? (eg. E2)

The earlier Kodak SLRs are a bit fussy, for instance none of mine will work with a CF card in a PCMCIA adapter, though are just fine with a PCMCIA flash card or HDD

Have just won one of these beasties (item #150114344473) and should have it shortly-seems to come with most accessories (thankfully with lens, or I would have to start buying Minolta fit lenses as well.) Will post more info/serial no. when it arrives.

Interesting to see the middle two use the same images/listing!

The bottom one, E2n, is serial no. 7410073 BTW.

Those are some nice photos-they make my surroundings look pretty boring... My EOS•DCS-5 seems to be much more IR sensitive than my DCS-420 (even though they are basically the same thing in different boxes!) Until I got a Hot Mirror, the photos from the EOS were very pink, over exposed, and ...
