Hi,

He may be expecting a 'sensible bid' from a collector, but he's not getting one from me either! ;)

As we all know, what something once sold for has no bearing on what it's worth now. It's still a 1.5 MP DSLR in an era where several current models are pushing or exceeding 10x the resolution.

I think almost all of the collectors of these things are gathered here, and most of us already have more than one of these old things. I strongly suspect that the auction will run it's course with no bids, but for his sake, I hope I'm wrong about that. ;)

Stan

I suspect a fraudulent bidder... his last 2 items he bought have had the item pulled/ removed from Ebay... and the other items he bought were all under $50... mostly computer cables/ USB items.

If he did buy it, I've got another E3 in the box w/ manuals and charger I'd like to sell him!

Both buyer and seller have 100% feedback. The buyer only would have an item pulled if it was a scam, or if the seller was not paying Ebay fees. I won an item, only to have it yanked out from under me by Ebay. The seller was "Past Due".

I suspect a buyer that has not visited our forum to see recent prices, or an avid collector who wanted one of the first 10. Not that any of us has done that...

I feel satisfied with My E3, and I use it a good bit with the Micro-Nikkor and SB-29 ringlight. Last collectible that I got was a Collapsible Nikkor in LTM. And it was a LOT LESS THAN THIS!
