D1 and GPS?

I found a D1 recently.

Above the Fire-wire connector is a 2.5mm jack plug, just like the D1H and X.

The manual for the D1 says nothing about a GPS connection.

Has one of you tried this connection on a D1?

Hi Gijs,

As far as I know, the original D1 doesn't include GPS support.

Also, checking the D1X review at www.dpreview.com, GPS is listed as a new feature. No mentioning of GPS in the original D1 review.

Hello,
I checked my owner's manual as well and it doesn't even mention the little plug! But the fact remains that it IS there!
Anyone brave enough to try?
I would if I knew how :oops:
