Post by amirza2004 » Fri Jun 27, 2008 5:42 am

the seller pasted Jarle's RC-760 pictures instead of his own. looks fishy.

RC-760 auction June 2008

Post by Webmaster » Mon Jun 30, 2008 2:06 pm

Yes, I noticed. The pictures have since been replaced, so I guess the auction is real enough. But the text is still more or less copied directly from my own article (without any credit), which always makes me wonder how serious the seller is.

Post by Webmaster » Thu Jul 03, 2008 11:59 am

Only 5 bids, but still sold for an impressive $2,375.

Here's the bid history:

BIDDER 1 US $2,375.00
Jul-02-08 08:16:42 PDT

BIDDER 3 US $2,350.00
Jul-02-08 08:16:37 PDT

BIDDER 3 US $2,230.00
Jul-02-08 08:16:22 PDT

BIDDER 2 US $1,417.11
Jul-02-08 08:16:37 PDT

BIDDER 1 US $500.00
Jun-27-08 15:06:28 PDT

Starting Price US $500.00
Jun-25-08 08:16:45 PDT

Looks like a nice kit, including boxes, warranty cards, a VF player unit, etc. but I still think the price is insane. Glad I bought mine when it was only $305...

I took 6 months to recover after I bought dcs 100 and now I will need 6 more for this one. I hope I don't have to bid on nikon qv1000 for the next 6 months.Looks a great unit although I was a bit skeptical in the beginning well I see how it turns out.
