"Canon RC-701 Digital Camera Body Worlds 1st SLR ! - Still Video Camera ....This is very difficult to Find. Appears in Mint Condition as if it were hardly used. No Lens or Battery. Serial Number # 100000099.

Very Rare and perhaps the 99th made ever. Not may were produced and this was aquired through a US Govt Nasa Facility. They could afford them at the time ! Includes the Origional strap and sold as Shown as is. Very unique fine early production Canon SLR and the first of its kind released. The pictures in this listing are not great however I can assure you the condition is mint."

Canon rc 701 camera and access.

Canon rc 701 digital disc camera---- with 50mm f1.2 and 75-200 f4.5 FD lenses,three batteries, charger,case and instructions(reprint)---from 1986 this was Canon's first digital camera.Pictures were loaded onto a disc and transferred to TV.These cameras were used extensively for TV, sports and newspapers. I do not know too much more about this camera.Camera and lenses are in very good condition.I am charging batteries to see if it powers up--will relay info later sold as is

I just received a RC-701 with two lenses, but only with an empty battery and without Power unit. Do you have a Manual for this rare camera?
