Not necessarily. There's plenty of working cameras sold "as is". It often means that the seller can't or won't bother testing it. Not long ago, I bought a cheap, Kodak DCS 720x "as is". The camera was like new. No problems whatsoever.avinoam123 wrote:"sold as is" = Dead as a doornail
