Hi,

Well, it is pricey, but then it's brand-new. Back in 1999, I paid half that ($750) for what was essentially the same kit - except that one had obviously been used a lot.

You might not even have to have the battery pack rebuilt. You might just have to run a few charge/discharge cycles on the NiCd cells to bring them back to life. Still, even if the pack does need new cells, you'd not see that had been done with the pack inserted into the camera.

This is probably a good deal for someone that wants a 'new' one of these for the old collection. That's not me, as I'm just a user of these things. Well, ex-user, actually. ;)

later!

Stan

It's almost impossible to find one in this condition, with all the extras and manuals included.

I have been looking for the last 10 years and this is the third one I see in this kinda condition, I have one of those three :)
Let's not forget that back in 1996 someone paid a lot more than $1000 for it.

Hi,

IIRC, they were $10-12k when new, so this is 10% or less. ;)

Later!
