The early days of Nikon's European digital imaging division

Post by NikonWeb »

Did you know that Nikon turned down the opportunity to market a little program later known as Adobe Photoshop? Or that a super rare Nikon QV-1000C was stolen in Milan, Italy and was never recovered?

The early days of Nikon's European digital imaging division is a must read story by former Nikon manager Alan Bartlett:

Hi,

It's the usual story of 'pioneering development'. Really cool products that no one ever buys. I later years, someone else essentially copies same, and -poof- it takes off!

Later!
