Re: Coolpix 300 wanted
Hello, I've got one Coolpix 300, bought 2 or 3 years ago on e-Bay, but sorry I don't intend to sell it. The concept of this camera was quite interesting, it was looking like a Palm with the possibility to write comments directly on the screen / pictures with a little pen. It was may be to much "...

Re: Leica M9 - love at first light (NikonWeb article)
As I considered it as a must for my DSLR collection, I couldn't resist to a "relatively reasonable" offer for a R9 + DMR + winder a few weeks ago, and I don't regret the effort. This camera is really apart from the usual production and I fully agree with Stan that using the thumb lever aga...

Re: Rare Contax N DSLR for sale
Jarle, Of course, the Contax N Digital and the QV 1000C are not comparable. I knew you answer well in advance and I was just kidding. :D I will continue to dream of it each time I will visit L'Espace Nikon in Paris. By the way, I take the opportunity to answer your question about l'Espace Nikon : it...

Re: Rare Contax N DSLR for sale
Hi Jarle, I'm ready to exchange one of my Contax N Digital against one of your .... Nikon QV1000 !!!. As said, it tooked 2 years between the first presentation of the body and its release on the market, and as it finally came out in 2001, it went quickly in competition with the Canon EOS 1 Ds that a...

I ve got a few tests, but I'm not sure it's allowed to copy
I've got some tests of Kodak DCS and early Nikon DSLRs, but they are mainly in French, and I'm pretty sure that it's not allowed to copy them on the Web.
Let me know if interested.

Contax N Digital production
I've no idea of how many were produced. The highest serial N° I got is 2747. For sure, it's quite rare, we don't see many on e-Bay and they are usually sold in private auctions. In fact I bought a lot of 4 bodies that were sold for parts by an ex-Contax specialist in Paris, but they all work under c...

Contax N Digital
My old Kodak DCS and Nikon bodies have found some new friends : I got 3 Contax N digital, but without user's guide. So, I'm wondering whether some of you who are also collecting digital Slrs could have one in PDF format. Roughly speaking, it's quite easy to use, but there are some functions that are...

A suggestion
I'm not a technical expert, but as the image seems to be "doubled" or defocused, I would suggest an optical issue.
Maybe the CCD sensor and the internal focal lenght compensation system are no longer "aligned" ?

Coolpix 100 and 300
I also got a Coolpix 100 in a fair 2 years ago for about 25€, and when I came back home and discovered this PC Card I found it very clever and innovative and I was surprised that it had been abandonned so quickly. I also had this strange feeling that it was really looking like a cell phone that was ...

Minolta RD 175
I love this camera too. It really looks like a prototype invented by crazy engineers, and the 3CCD solution is very clever and interesting. In fact I was quite impressed by the quality of the images for the time. I succeeded in connecting it to an old PC quite easily, this t is absolutely necessary ...

Nikon D1-R on E-Bay, never heard about it ???
I found following auction on e-Bay. According to you, is it a so rare "official" version from Nikon, as the seller is pretending, or is it just a normal D1 which has been "customised" a bit by taking off the IR filter ? And what does this really bring ? http://cgi.ebay.fr/Nikon-D...

Nikon E-series serial number
Hello, I discovered this very interesting forum some days ago, thanks to Wolfi, who is also member of another french forum. So that you can update your list, I own E3 N° 8400043. I was exceptionally lucky to buy it last year in mint condition, in the original box (also for battery charger PS-3) for ...
