I was surfing the bay and came across this item:

Looks like an ordinary DW-20 at first glance, waist level finder for a Nikon f4, but then there's this quote:
The exterior shows minimal signs of wear. There is an engraved NASA property ID on the side.
I asked for the picture of engraving. Got an email with a picture of a crude looking engraving.
Will post it later.

Seems like an ordinary DW-20 with a NASA engraving. No big deal.

There's nothing special about NASA-owned equipment, unless it's been flown in space, and comes with proper paperwork.

Seems like this seller is selling lots of stuff engraved NASA xxxxx. Made me wonder, so I emailed the seller.
Here was the short reply:
This(Stuff) is from a closed Military program.
Which kinda makes sense, I've been looking at the stuff they list on ebay and this seller seems like a government surplus reseller.
Here is some of the stuff he has for sale currently:

I did buy the DW-20 for my F4 since it's DP-20 has a little crack. :P

You know, Kiu - there's NASA stuff and there's NASA stuff. I wouldn't mind having one of these (DCS 760's and D1X's):
