Control your Nikon DSLR with your iPhone

Post by NikonWeb »

Interesting stuff:
  • Remotely fire your Canon EOS or Nikon DSLR camera with your iPhone or iPod Touch
  • Remotely control the camera settings like shutter-speed, aperture, white-balance and more
  • View images saved on the camera from your iPhone or iPod Touch
  • Look through your camera's viewfinder remotely
You'll need to physically connect the camera to a computer (which seriously limits its practical use), but for some people this could be a very useful setup. And it's cheap too - just $19.99 (camera, laptop and iPhone not included).

Now - when will we see built-in Wi-Fi capabilities in a (semi)professional DSLR body? Nikon's current remote control solutions are way too expensive and awkward.
