Too bad vegetating in the showcase, resting in an aluminum-box: Kodak/Nikon F5/DCS620x

Post by NikonD1X »

As often I can I use my old DSLRs. This time I grabbed the wonderful 2 Megapixel Kodak DCS620x and took a lot of fotos. Predestinated for sports an reportage, I had the DCS620x in the Basketball-Gym, a Sealife-Aquarium and my favorite Swedish motive, the „Bilkykogård Kyrkö Mosse“ a „Rotten/Lost Place“, Åke Danielssons (1914-2000) Junkyard

A MUST for every Nikon-Enthusiast. End of 2011/Beginning of 2012 the Danish pro-photographer, music video producer and Nikon Ambassador Morten Rygaard used the brandnew Nikon D800, producing the official promotion-video for Nikon Scandinavia. Here you can watch the „Making-of“:

This is the complete video about the Danish/Norwegian Band „Euzen“: https://youtu.be/6IGMjim-Ieo produced with the Nikon D800.

This junkyard lays only 80 km (50 miles) away from my sisters home. Spending my holidays in the family’s cottage in the Swedish district of Blekinge I have visited the junkyard since fall 2012 several times. Eastern 2016 I took the Kodak DCS620x to Kyrkö Mosse, equipped only with the 4/16-35 mm VR Nikkor, giving a useful 24-53 mm Zoom on the DCS620x.

Enjoy some fresh 2016-pics taken with the 1999 DSLR. Image-Editing with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Reported by Adobe RAW/Photoshop you can easily interpolate the 1728 x 1152 Pixel = 2 MP Kodak DCS620x-files to 2048 x 1365 Pixel = 2,8 MP!
